Indiana Men’s Tennis Drops Sunday Match to No. 22 Illinois

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. –––– Indiana Men's Tennis lost their first match of the day to No. 22 Illinois on Sunday afternoon, 4-0, at the IU Tennis Center.

Illinois won at No. 1 and No. 2 doubles to take the momentum of the match and seal the doubles point.

Their 1-0 lead propelled them into singles where they won at No. 3, 1 and 4 singles to clinch the match victory. All other singles matches went unfinished.

With the loss, Indiana's record now stands at 11-8 overall and 1-2 in conference play.

The Hoosiers will have a quick turnaround for their next match as they host Saint Louis at 4:00 p.m. this afternoon.
