No. 16 Indiana Hosts 14th Annual Dale England Cup

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – In its final race day leading up to Big Ten Championships, No. 16-ranked Indiana rowing will host RV Notre Dame in the 14th Dale England Cup Saturday (April 29) morning at the Dale England Rowing Center on Lake Lemon.

Racing is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. ET. Results will be posted on Indiana rowing's Twitter page.

NOTES

Indiana has won the Dale England Cup in each of the last five seasons (2017, 2018, 2019, 2021, 2022) and has six total victories in the regatta named after longtime supporter Dale England, who passed away in 2019. In 2022, the Hoosiers outscored Clemson, Michigan State and Notre Dame.
IU Varsity Eight crew was named the Big Ten Boat of the Week on Tuesday after beating No. 12 Ohio State and Michigan State in their race last weekend.
Saturday's regatta is IU's last competition before Big Ten Championships, set for Sunday, May 14.

SCORING SYSTEM
For each race in the following events, a crew earns the following points for their team:

V8 – 18 points for the winning crew, 9 points for 2nd
2V8 – 12 points for winning crew, 6 points for 2nd
V4 – 6 points for winning crew, 3 points for 2nd
