SARASOTA, Fla. – Indiana rowing will compete in its third event of the 2023 season among a hearty field at the Big Ten Invitational Friday and Saturday (April 7-8) at Nathan Benderson Park in Sarasota, Florida.
The two-day regatta will feature three sessions, two on Friday and a morning session on Saturday.

NOTES
- Nine of 16 teams in the Big Ten Invitational field were ranked in the last Pocock/CRCA poll, including No. 20 Indiana as well as No. 2 Stanford, No. 6 Brown, No. 11 Ohio State, No. 12 Duke, No. 13 Michigan, No. 15 SMU, No. 18 Tennessee and No. 19 Alabama. Six more teams – UCLA, UCF, Iowa, Michigan State, Rutgers and Wisconsin – received votes.
- Indiana is coming off its first of two home event this season, winning three of four races against Minnesota and Tulsa on March 24.
- IU won four races at the 2022 Big Ten Invitational, coming from its Varsity 8, Varsity 4, Second Varsity 4 and Novice 8 crews.
