No. 16 Hoosiers Host Trine on Senior Day

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. — Indiana men's soccer (9-3-5, 7-1-2 B1G) will close its regular season hosting NCAA Division III opponent Trine (7-6-2, 5-0-2 MIAA) Friday (Oct. 31) evening on Jerry Yeagley Field at Bill Armstrong Stadium.
Kickoff is set for 6:30 p.m. ET, and admission is free. Fans unable to attend can watch the match on the B1G+ digital platform.
Due to the conflicting Indiana men's basketball exhibition game, spectator parking for men's soccer is only available at the 17th St. lot (across from St. Paul Catholic Center) and at the Bell Tower lot off 17th St.
Indiana men's soccer will celebrate nine seniors with a pregame ceremony: JT Harms, Luke Jeffus, Patrick McDonald, Tommy Mihalic, Jansen Miller, Aidan Montoure, Samuel Sarver, Justin Weiss and Grant Yeagley. The 2024 senior class has earned a 53-18-17 (.699) record in four seasons, won three Big Ten Championships and reached the NCAA College Cup in 2022.
KICKING OFF
• The Hoosiers captured a share of the Big Ten regular season championship with a 6-1 victory over Northwestern on Tuesday. Its Indiana's 19th league championship and 35th conference title overall.
• Indiana has built a six-match winning streak and nine-match unbeaten streak (7-0-2) coming into Friday's game. The Hoosiers have scored multiple goals in each game of the unbeaten run, IU's longest multi-goal stretch since 1997.
ABOUT THE THUNDER
• Trine clinched a share of the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) regular season championship with a 5-0-2 league record.
• The Thunder are led by first-year head coach Mike Avery, who has earned a 153-157-56 career record over 19 seasons.
• Trine junior defender Braden Estep is Trine's leading producer with 10 points from four goals and two assists. Senior midfielder Luke Kearns (two goals, four assists) and sophomore forward Djimo Kouyate (four goals) have earned eight points apiece.
