Indiana Mens Tennis Takes Down Marquette for a 2-0 Friday

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. –––– Indiana Men's Tennis kept rolling in the second game of their Friday doubleheader.
Following Indiana's 5-0 win earlier in the day over Bellarmine, The Hoosiers put together a strong performance in a 6-1 win over Marquette on Friday at the IU Tennis Center.
IU continued its doubles success from the first match into the second match. Ilya Tiraspolsky and Michael Andre earned their second doubles win of the day with a win at No. 1 doubles, 6-1.
Carson Haskins and Jagger Saylor Secured the doubles point with a win at No. 2 doubles, 6-0.
In singles play, wins from Deacon Thomas, Facundo Yunis, and Ilya Tiraspolsky at No. 6, 1, and 4 doubles secured the match for the Hoosiers.
Jagger Saylor and Nikola Kolyachev would finish the match with wins at No. 2 and No. 5 singles.
Notable moments/action?
With the win over Marquette, the Hoosiers now hold a 5-2 record on the season.
Indiana will be back in action once again on Sunday, February 4, with a match against Boise State at 11 a.m.
