No. 16 IU Rowing Returns with Weekend at Oak Ridge Invite

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – No. 16-ranked Indiana rowing will kick off its 2024 season at the Oak Ridge Invitational Saturday (March 16) on Melton Lake in Oak Ridge, Tennessee.
The two-day regatta will feature three sessions, two on Saturday and a morning session on Sunday.
Of the eight teams IU will race at the weekend, three were featured in the preseason Pocock CRCA Coaches Poll. Duke ranks No. 13, while Wisconsin and Alabama both received votes. The Hoosiers will also race Clemson, Navy, North Carolina, Notre Dame and San Diego.
Indiana finished No. 17 nationally last season after returning to the NCAA Rowing Championships for the first time since 2019 and seventh time in the last nine full seasons. IU finished third at the Big Ten Championships, highlighted by the Varsity 8's silver-medal performance.
