Indiana Men’s Tennis Set to Host Two Matches This Weekend

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. ––––– Indiana Men's Tennis is set to host two matches this weekend at the IU Tennis Center.
In the first match, Indiana will take on rival Purdue in the Hoosier's first conference match of the season. Purdue currently holds a 5-8 record with their last match being a loss to Boise State, 6-1.
The match against Purdue will take place on Saturday, March 23, at 3 p.m.
On Sunday, Indiana will take on Cornell at 3 p.m. for their second match of the weekend. Cornell currently sits on an 11-4 record, with their last match being a sweep of Penn State, 7-0.
In singles play, sophomore Sam Landau has put together an excellent campaign so far this season, holding a 7-2 record.
Senior Michael Andre leads the team in singles wins, earning 9 total wins so far this season.
In doubles play, Michael Andre and Ilya Tiraspolsky have led the way in doubles. The duo have accomplished an 8-1 record together so far this season
Facundo Yunis and Luc Boulier have also been excellent in doubles, earning a 7-1 record on the season.
