No. 15 Hoosiers Host 15th Annual Dale England Cup

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – No. 15 Indiana rowing will host Michigan State in the 15th annual Dale England Cup Saturday (April 27) at the Dale England Rowing Center on Lake Lemon.
Racing is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. ET. Admission is free, and fans can track results via the Indiana Rowing X – formerly known as Twitter – page (@IndianaRowing).
Indiana has won the Dale England Cup seven times, including each of the last six. At the 2023 regatta, the Hoosiers defeated Notre Dame in six of seven races to capture the trophy.
Saturday's regatta marks Indiana's final buildup to the 2024 Big Ten Rowing Championships. Last season, IU earned a program-record third-place finish at the conference competition, helping build its résumé for an NCAA Championships appearance.
Indiana will honor its senior rowers following the trophy ceremony at approximately 11 a.m. ET.

9:15 a.m. – N8 (Michigan State, Indiana)
9:30 a.m. – 2V4 (Michigan State, Indiana 2V4, Indiana 3V4)
9:45 a.m. – V4 (Indiana, Michigan State)
10 a.m. – 2V8 (Michigan State, Indiana)
10:15 a.m. – V8 (Indiana, Michigan State)
SCORING SYSTEM
For each race in the following events, a crew earns the following points for their team:
Varsity 8 – 18 points for the winning crew, 9 points for 2nd
2nd Varsity 8 – 12 points for winning crew, 6 points for 2nd
Varsity 4 – 6 points for winning crew, 3 points for 2nd
Tiebreaker - The higher placing crew in V8 event shall serve
as the tiebreaker between two teams if the team totals are equal
The team that earns the most overall total points wins the Dale England Cup Trophy
