BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Indiana women's soccer returns home for their final two matches of the year. The Hoosiers start on Sunday, Oct. 19, when they host Penn State in Bloomington, Ind. The match is set to start at 1 pm.

ABOUT THE NITTANY LIONS
Penn State comes to Bill Armstrong Stadium after winning their last match at Purdue. The Nittany Lions have had plenty of scoring opportunities this season. Aubrey Kulpa and Kaitlyn MacBean lead the team with eight and seven goals, respectively. Kulpa also leads the team in assists with six.
LAST TIME OUT
The Hoosiers closed out their road conference schedule last Thursday when they traveled to No. 16 Michigan State. In a difficult road match, Indiana was unable to find momentum, leading to a 2-0 defeat.
Michigan State brought the pressure for a majority of the first half. Indiana was still able to apply pressure in the box to keep the game tied at zero.
Nearing the end of the first half, The Spartans found two goals in the final five minutes to take the lead going into the break.
Graduate goalkeeper Sally Rainey pulled in three saves while in goal, but The Hoosier offense was unable to find opportunities through the defense.
Junior midfielder Kennedy Neighbors took one final shot, btu was unable to find the back of the net, resulting in a 2-0 defeat.
QUICK STATS
The Hoosiers have nine goal scorers on the season. Grace Hamm and Maggie Ledwith lead the Hoosiers with four goals each. Aleyna Quinn, Sarah Sirdah, and Abbey Iler all follow with two goals apiece. Haden Vlcek, Jenna Chatterton, Olivia Rush, and Paige Droner have also scored for Indiana.
Ledwith leads the team in points with 13, followed by Hamm with nine. Sirdah ranks third with five points, while Quinn and Iler have four points. Olivia Rush follows with three points, while Olivia Smith, Jenna Chatterton, Vlcek, and Droner have tallied two points this season. Marisa Grzesiak, Kennedy Neighbors, Natasha Kim, Ella Stanley, and Olivia Albert also have one point apiece.
Indiana has taken 178 shots from 18 different players on the season. Ledwith leads the way with 30, followed by Grzesiak and Neighbors with 23 and 21, respectively. Sirdah and Hamm have also taken double figure shot attempts with 16 and 15, respectively. Kim follows with 11 shots, while Quinn and Vlcek have tallied 10 shots apiece for the Hoosiers.
Six Hoosiers have recorded over 1,000 minutes played this season. The Trio of Olivias (Albert, Rush, Smith) along with Haden Vlcek, Neighbors, and Ledwith have all hit the 1,000 minute mark this season. Josie Pratl has also crossed the 900 minute mark as well.
In goal, Sally Rainey and Dani Jacobson have combined for four shutouts and 59 saves on the season. Jacobson also has an additional solo shutout against Ball State.
Rainey has three games this season recording at least five saves. She has totaled 36 saves on the year.
IU is shooting 100% on their penalty kicks. Sirdah and Hamm have each of Indiana's two attempts.
