BLOOMINGTON, Ind. –––– Indiana Men's Tennis earned their second sweep of the season, taking down Bellarmine, 5-0, on Friday afternoon at the IU Tennis Center.
Indiana came out strong to open the day in doubles play. Carson Haskins and Jagger Saylor quickly earned a win at No. 2 doubles, 6-1. Ilya Tiraspolsky and Michael Andre quickly followed up with a win at No. 1 doubles, 6-1, and secured the lead heading into singles play.
The Hoosiers showed no signs of slowing down in singles with Luc Boulier, Michael Andre, and Nikola Kolyachev winning at No. 4, 2, and 6 singles to clinch the match victory.
Senior Jagger Saylor would finish the match with a win at No. 3 singles, 3-6, 6-0, 10-3.
With the win, Indiana improves their record to 4-2 on the season.
The Hoosiers will finish the day with their second match of the doubleheader against Marquette at 5 p.m.
