NORWALK, Ohio -The Hoosiers had their best Big Ten showing of the year -- winning four of 10 matches -- yet the Hoosiers lost 31-13. Trevor Moody, Luke Blanton, Nate Jackson and Garret Goldman were all victorious.

The first match of the night, was the most anticipated bout of the night. No. 7 Taylor Walsh faced off against No. 5 Bo Jordan for the 165-pound match. Walsh jumped out to a 3-0 lead after a takedown in the first and an escape in the second period. After two takedowns from Jordan and an escape from Walsh, the match was tied at 4-4 to end the third period. In the sudden victory period, Jordan won 6-4 by earning his third takedown of the match.

Sophomore Nate Jackson took out a big lead in the first period with three takedowns to lead 6-2. He started the second period down and quickly earned an escape, followed by a takedown to lead 9-2. Jackson won by a 12-3 major decision over Dominic Prezzia. Heavyweight Garret Goldman earned his first Big Ten win of the year by defeating Ray Gordon 3-2.

Redshirt sophomore Trevor Moody trailed 2-0 early in the first after a Languis takedown, but earned an escape before the end of the period. Moody started the third period down and tied the bout at 2-2 after a second escape. the 149-pounder won the bout after getting the bouns point for riding time.

Luke Blanton won his second consecutive Big Ten bout after defeating Kyle Visconti. Blanton led in a close bout 6-5 going into the third period. A reversal, two takedowns and a bonus point for riding time gave Blanton the 13-7 win.

The Hoosiers are at home this Sunday, January 25 (1 pm) to take on the Wolverines of Michigan (University Gymnasium).
