School Record 10 Players Selected in MLB Draft
Indiana's Matt Gorski, Andrew Saalfrank, Tanner Gordon, Matt Lloyd, Pauly Milto, Scotty Bradley, Cam Beauchamp, Cole Barr, Elijah Dunham, and Cade Bunnell complete a school record of 10 players selected to the MLB Draft. This brings Indiana's total of drafted players to 104.

Indiana Wins Big Ten Title
Indiana's 13-3 win over Rutgers secured the Big Ten regular season championship in Head Coach Jeff Mercer's first season at the helm.
No. 24 Indiana Selected to Louisville Regional
Indiana was granted an at-large bid in the NCAA Tournament for the sixth time in seven years as well as the ninth total appearance in program history as the No. 2 seed in the Louisville Regional.

Langford Drafted by the Boston Celtics
Indiana Guard Romeo Langford was selected 14thoverall by the Boston Celtics in the 2019 NBA draft. Langford is the first lottery pick from Indiana since Noah Vonleh in 2014.

Indiana's Romeo Langford driving layup with less than a second remaining was enough to edge out the No. 19 Wisconsin Badgers 75-73 in double overtime.
Phinisee's Buzzer Beater Stuns Butler
Indiana's Phinisee heaved a 30-foot shot at the buzzer to stun the Bulldogs 71-68 at the Crossroads Classic at Bankers Life Fieldhouse. Juwan Morgan scored 35 points to surpass the 1,000-career point mark going 12 of 14 from the field and 4 for 6 in 3-point attempts.

10-Seed Indiana's Jaelynn Penn scored a game-high 24 points as Indiana upset the Longhorns in the first round of the NCAA Tournament, advancing to the second round for the second time in program history.

Hoosiers Earn At-Large Bid into NCAA Tournament
Indiana was seeded 10thin the 2019 NCAA Women's Basketball Tournament and traveled to Eugene, Oregon to take on No. 7 Texas. This was the sixth time in program history and the first bid since 2016.

Barn Burner Stays with IU in 73-51 Win Over Purdue
Indiana had four scorers in double digits as the team keeps the Barn Burner Trophy for the third-straight season, winning four of the last six meetings against Purdue.

Indiana guard Bendu Yeaney secured a 75-73 win over No. 10 Iowa with a runner in the lane with 3.8 seconds left in regulation.

Indiana Takes 17thand 18that NCAA Championships
Indiana women's Cross Country runner, Maggie Allen, earned All-American honors with a 36th-place finish to lead the team to a 19th-place performance. The men were led by Kyle Mau in 49th overall for an 18th-place team position.
FIELD HOCKEY

Head Coach Bashore, Assistant Coach Castro Join Staff
Indiana University alum, Kayla Bashore, was named head coach of the field hockey program. Bashore was a 2005 graduate of Indiana playing all four years on the field hockey team earning Big Ten Player of the Year, two All-American honors, and was twice an Olympian.

Castro, a 2009 graduate of Indiana, played 76 games in uniform garnering an Academic All-Big Ten achievement and a 48-33 regular season record.

MEN'S GOLF
Golf Earns Team Academic Award for Seventh-Straight Year
Indiana earned top academic honors from the Golf Coaches Association of America for the seventh year in a row. Indiana was one of 193 schools across all divisions to record a team GPA of 3.0.

The Pfau Course at Indiana University Named
Indiana men's and women's golf programs along with Indiana University athletics announced a major gift to replace the Indiana Championship Golf Course.
Ochsenreiter Runner-Up at Steelwood
Brock Ochsenreiter finished the best of his career 7-under (73-64-72) at the Steelwood Collegiate in Loxly, Alabama besting the 72 player field.

Indiana Finishes 21stat NCAA Championships
Indiana finished tied for 21stout of 24 teams at the NCAA Championships for the first time since 2007 with Mary Parsons leading the way in a tie for 66th.

Indiana took the Lady Boilermaker Classic title for the first time since 2017 with Parsons picking up her first collegiate win and tied for a school record score of 66 on the second day of competition.

Indiana took a 1-0 lead in the first half with a goal from Andrew Gutman that secured the outright Big 10 Championship over Ohio State for the first time since 2010 and the 15thin program history.

Indiana defeated Michigan 3-0 in the Big Ten Championship for the 13thtime in school history. This was also the first time Indiana won the regular season championship and the tournament championship for the first time since 2006.

Gutman Wins MAC Hermann Trophy
Andrew Gutman won the most prestigious award in NCAA College Soccer with the MAC Hermann Trophy, awarded to the best men's player in Division I soccer. Gutman is the seventh player overall and the first since 2004 to win the honor for Indiana.

Indiana toppled No. 6 Georgia 6-4 in Boca Raton, Florida before the performance granted them a 24th-ranked spot in the National Fastpitch Coaches Association poll for the first time since 1996.

Three National Champions Crowned
Three Individuals were named national champions on the final day of competition in Austin. Ian Finnerty broke the pool record in the 100 breaststroke for the second straight year in 49.85. Finnerty is the only man in event history to break 50 seconds. Vini Lanza completed a come-from-behind victory in the 100 butterfly for the win as well. Lastly, Andrew Capobianco compiled 461.65 points in the 3-meter dive for the final national title for Indiana.

400 Medley Relay Team Wins NCAA Title
Indiana's Gabriel Fantoni, Finnerty, Lanza, and Zach Apple took the NCAA title with a pool record time of 2:59.70, the second-best time in event history.

Indiana captured its third-straight Big Ten Championship in Iowa City with a total of 24 metals as Vini Lanza became the first man in Big Ten history to be named Swimmer of the Championships for three-straight years.

King Named Honda Sports Award Winner
King became the fourth Indiana swimmer to win the prestigious award, chosen by over 1,000 NCAA member schools signifying "the best of the best in collegiate athletics".
MEN'S TENNIS
Cembellin Earns ITA Most Improved Senior Award
Indiana's Cembellin earned First Team All-Big Ten after finishing the season with a 23-11 singles record at the No. 1 spot with a 6-4 Big Ten record.
Indiana Upsets No. 32 Texas Tech
Indiana toppled the Red Raiders after sweeping the doubles point before four singles players secured the win at No. 1, 4, 5, and 6 singles.
WOMEN'S TENNIS

Indiana Beats No. 31 Illinois
Indiana came back in early singles play to get an early advantage on No. 31 Illinois 3-2. With the score was tied 3-3, all eyes were on No. 2 singles in Natalie Whalen who pulled through in 7-6 (7-4), 4-6, and 7-5.

Appel, Whalen Earn All-Big Ten Honors
Indiana's Appel was unanimously selected after a singles record of 22-11, 8-3 in Big Ten play at the No. 1 spot. Whalen compounded a 28-6 record in singles and a 29-9 mark in doubles to be named to her first All-Big Ten selection.

Indiana men's team had the most NCAA Championships entries out of the Big Ten with 11 total while the women tied for third with six total entries.

Dawson and Pollard Earn All-American Accolades
Indiana's Khayla Dawson and Maddy Pollard both earned First Team All-American honors after sixth and eighth-place finishes in the shot put finals.

Four Indiana Men Grab all-American Honors
Indiana wrapped up competition at the NCAA Division I Track and Field Championships with four more All-Americans in Eric Bethea, Kyle Mau, Daniel Michalski, and Cooper Williams. Williams finished fifth in the 800m while Michalski took seventh in the 3000m steeplechase. Rounding it out was Bethea, seventh in the triple jump, and Mau, eighth in the 5,000m.
